As an exciting addition to the SRU Student Success Center renovation, the SRU MPR AV project elevated the functionality and experience of the university’s multipurpose room. This upgrade included the installation of two large projection screens, two projectors, a full sound rack, and an impressive 48 ceiling-mounted speakers—delivering immersive audio for events, presentations, and gatherings.
One of the standout challenges was mounting the massive projection screens. Our team used two duet jacks to safely lift and position them at the precise mounting locations, navigating the high ceilings and ensuring a clean, professional finish. The sheer scale of this AV setup—particularly the 48 ceiling speakers in a single room—made this project both technically demanding and uniquely rewarding.
