Over the course of two school years, our team completed a multi-phase renovation project designed to modernize the school district’s facilities—all without disrupting daily class operations. The scope of work was extensive, including new lighting and controls for classrooms and hallways, a completely upgraded fire alarm system, new theater lighting and controls, and the construction of both a new high school administrative addition and a 16-classroom expansion. We also enhanced safety and visibility with new site lighting installed around the building.
One of the most complex and rewarding challenges was the relocation of six electrical panels and a transformer. Our goal was to maintain uninterrupted service for as long as possible, which required precise planning and execution—including temporary T-tapping of feeders over several months. In addition to the technical hurdles, we navigated numerous design adjustments, product installation complexities, RFIs, and change orders. Through it all, the team demonstrated strong coordination, smart problem-solving, and unwavering dedication.
